As the third generation of his family to be involved in this field, John's journey began with a profound understanding of the sector's intricacies and challenges.

Equipped with a keen focus on compliance and a determination to make a difference, John embarked on a journey of professional growth. Upon obtaining his Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (TM CPC), he immersed himself in the realm of compliance, seeking to uphold the highest standards in every aspect of his work.

His relentless pursuit of excellence led him to acquire additional qualifications, including becoming an ISO 9001:2015 auditor and attaining a Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET). Through these endeavours, John honed his skills and expanded his capabilities, positioning himself as a trusted advisor in matters of compliance, regulation, and system implementation.

Drawing from his extensive experience, John has provided invaluable support to numerous clients, guiding them through compliance audits, facilitating O Licence applications, and assisting in the implementation of robust systems and procedures. Since it's inception I've had problems with the way CPC has been rolled out by the government and various legislative bodies and while it still isn't perfect (that is something is probably too subjective to actually reach anyway) the way it sits now is miles better from when it was first introduced. John took a subject that makes most drivers roll their eyes and shake their heads and made it engaging and fun and opened up discussion about the specifics of how the rules affect us as drivers within our own operation making them far easier to understand. John is also the first trainer I've had who has suggested actually doing a demonstration of how to do a manual entry using a truck that our drivers use rather than one of the various ''simulators'' available online.
